Greg’s story

Greg had always struggled with his mental health, finding it difficult to express himself and connect with others. His isolation deepened until he stumbled upon Access All Aerials, a community radio station in his local town. Intrigued by the idea of sharing his thoughts and experiences, he decided to give it a try.

Through his involvement with Access All Aerials, Greg discovered a newfound sense of belonging. He connected with like-minded individuals who shared similar experiences and understood his struggles. The station provided a safe and supportive environment where he could express himself without judgment.

The station provided a creative outlet, allowing Greg to channel his emotions and find a sense of purpose. He says that on more than one occasion the station, its volunteers and music has made him feel more positive and improved his mood. Through broadcasting, he gained confidence, improved his communication skills, and developed a stronger sense of self-worth.
