Purpose Statement - To empower disabled people through group opportunities which promote personal development and wellbeing

The CEDA Activity Hub provides a range of learning, development and wellbeing opportunities for disabled adults in a fun and social atmosphere. This service runs Monday – Friday during the daytime for 51 weeks of the year. Sessions mostly take place at one of our extensively equipped centres in Exeter. The programme of activities changes each term following consultation with people who access the service, and has included a huge range of subjects including,

  • Creative activities such as painting, pottery, collage, mosaic
  • Sensory activities such as loud sensory, sensory story telling
  • Wellbeing activities like massage, beauty treatments and relaxation
  • Discussion/project groups like current affairs and specific subjects
  • Sports such as wheelchair football, music and movement and athletics & games

Alternatively, people can bring their own support if they prefer. Attendees are allocated a link worker, who can work with the person to set personal goals and work towards them.
